ok..the outing is confirmed. It will be a bowling + tentaively dinner outing on 8 July 2011 (Friday) evening. Venue will depend on who is going and where majority of the people is coming from. woah..the last post is like half a year ago? Looks like this blog is really dead..

But oh well, heard from wenbin that many are waiting for the next outing..so this post shall be dedicated for you all to propose possible outings that can be done, cos wenbin fi and i ran out of good ideas.

Hello my class... thank you Dezhan and Wensheng for reminding me there's a class blog. so here's probably my last post dedicated to this class blog before A's.

Thank You to everyone i've met in the class for making AJ a fun place to be in.. and well if i did any nonsensical/irritating stuff, my apologies, sorry.

For my crazy happy hop and maybe i've brought some smiles to you guys etc, i hope they lighten up your mood a little and i thank you for allowing me to try infecting you all with laughter happiness and craziness?

hmm ok guess that's all and hope that everyone can live their life to the fullest and well try to pepper your days with happiness and sunshine.. they really do make us look good as a person no matter our appearances.

I've felt all the nice things you guys have offered me and well i hope you all can feel it too? maybe there are bad times but good always win the bad in movies so..kindness rules..

Its dead, last post in August? Anyway its the end already, or approaching the end. Either way, you know i won't go all sentimental and all that, too not me.

Just to ask a little, last favour from all of you. Please pass me as many photos as possible, original file would be appreciated. I try not to take it from facebook because the uploading process destroy some data and the more you transfer the files the more data is lost and likewise with quality, a bit technical but yeah. Candid shots or formal ones are okay, but i will omit those unglam ttm photos, so your unlady like or gay behaviours are kept to yourself.

I know its may not be possible to dig everything out so if you can't nevermind, as bad as it may be facebook is the only logical choice. What im going to do with them is what im going to do after A's.

Candid shots are those that best represent you, your genuine self, and not some posed, constructed and fake photographs. Formal photographs are those that we call it in its formalistic form, which most films are slanted towards. It only means construction and manipulation, or in simpler terms, an act. And candid photos are open in their form and whatnot, the actual interaction between subjects and their environment, they have more life into it. The veracity of those shots is beyond words, they feel much more visceral compared to those formal shots. Which is one of the reason why i don't believe in one-two-three. The preparation for the shots tells a story, to be shared. Those who are more expressive or loud or AA are easily distinguished from those who are more shy, keeping to themselves. The character of the class comes to life, it has more texture to it than those which everyone is ready for.

Okay, shan't make the post longer than it should have been, or go on and on about my stuff. Try to pass it to me, don't have to rush, after A's is still quite possible, as long as it is not in the can yet editing can still take place.

Fi here. This is probably my first time posting here because there never really has been a need to lol. But I'm bored and I have time to spare before the most fun thing to do (ie. sleep) so here I am.

Now I know half of you don't read this blog but I promise I'll spend some time to update this blog if and when I can. Because I know it's dreary to come here just to know of the official events, what to bring, where to go, who to bring along, when to leave your house, why you must bring etc hahaha.

On a personal note, I don't really like Ang Ku Kueh's style of teaching. I guess we're too used to Mrs Chng's interaction-oriented style of teaching and it sucks when we just sit through her blabbering about casinos and what not. It's seriously irritating and I don't like it. Not. One. Bit. Then again, change is inevitable, so we mustn't really linger on this for too long. At the very least, we do it for Mrs Chng's sake.

Thank You everyone for the effort put in for SL, it's really an enjoyable experience with each and everyone..really really appreciate your co-operativeness + service.

and i believe we've reached a common consensus..

primary school children are mischievous and irritating.

but hey at some point we were once like this but definitely we were more obedient =)

well just want to say hope you guys enjoyed the company of each other too and i'm really proud that we were early for the class event + 90% of our plans could be carried out!

last note..

i'm one who believes that anything can happen (good or bad).. but i also believe no matter what we should try if it's within our ability. so that even when things don't work out we can proudly say: "I'VE TRIED, I'VE FAILED BUT I'VE LEARNT"

Hi all,

i understand that yesterday was really a bad day for the majority of us so i decided to blog this with a good aim in mind....to encourage everyone to move on....

I know this is real hard (even i am trying my best) but we still have PW and for some of us, H1 A level chinese, to work on. Therefore, being sad now would not help much and i really hope everyone could bury the past and move on. Future is for us to decide!!!! Few messages for my fellow friends in matar:

1) for those who promoted, congrats on passing J1!!! I am proud of u all and i hope you all can work equally hard next year!!!!
2) for those who are having retest, all the best for it and lucks for your revision. We can do it!!!!
3) for those who did not make it, i really hope you all could cheer up and you all must believe that this is not the end yet. Do not harp over it anymore ok? We will continue to support and encourage you all to the very end, no matter what choices you make!!!

hi..the details for our class lunch and sandcastle building are out!!! :) we will be going to parkway parade for lunch, and then take a direct bus to East Coast Park (Near Bedok Jetty). This will be the meeting time for different places:

for those taking the train, pls meet at Paya Lebar control station area at 11.30am. We will take a bus to parkway parade.
for those taking bus straight to Parkway parade, pls meet at outside Borders (basement of parkway parade) at 12pm.

Hihi..the tentative details for the sandcastle building are out.

Date: 15/10/09 (Thursday)

Attire: Most likely PE attire

the bad thing is, we will have to report to castle beach by ourselves. But the good thing is, the place is near the place that we last had our class BBQ!!!

ok..so there are suggestions that we may meet for lunch first before heading to bulid sandcastles (not in the air though >.<)

The Sarasnathan

The glint in his knife reflected that in his eyes. I could see it, so distinctly, so menacingly. He inched towards his victim, and with each step he took great diabolical pleasure. With that morbid interest he swung the knife back and forth, as if to test its potency. I stood there transfixed, helpless as he had the weapon in his hand.I could have stopped him, but no... I was stuck to the ground... there was nothing I could do but watch him. And his victim. He smiled, that ever malicious smile, and I stared on in horror when he finally reached within striking distance of his victim. He raised the knife, the glint momentarily struck fear into the inner sanctum of my heart. The victim... was all I could think about.

With one swift motion, he brought the knife down mercilessly into the victim.

The apple was cut into half.

I could not take it. I released my dam of tears... that flooded my face. My heart sank and I went into a frenzy.

"But I only wanted to make orange juice!!!! Why must you cut the apple??? Why???!!!" I cried out loud.

Now he turned around. He looked at me, the same malicious look that he had earlier, that had transfixed me. And he walked towards me... knife pointing towards me as well. What could I do? Now it was my turn... I was afraid, and very much so. I only wanted orange juice. He had cut the apple. The apple, a fruit, a red one that can be held in your hand without harm or poison. And he had cut it. Now he turned to me. My hands became clammy and my face turned pale. Every step he took towards me resonated through my heart, the reveberation of fear. Then he was just in front of me. I stood there, breathless, not daring to look directly to him.

"Here you go, the knife. Go cut the orange."

So I went to cut the orange. And I made orange juice. As the machine blended profusely, my sweat also came out profusely. With fear in my heart, I wondered. What if... I dare not think of the consequences. But it just washed into my mind. The thought of it sent shudders down my spine. I was feeling so cold, so disturbed by the thought, time passed seemingly so slow at that time. And then... the blender whirled to a halt. Not daring to look at the blender, I lifted its lid. The same scary thought once more washed into my mind, overwhelming all other thoughts as my clammy hands inevitably dropped the lid. I wondered.

What if the juice was not orange colour?

And I peered in. To my relief, the juice was blue in colour.

Lets talk about IQ and EQ.

IQ, which obviously means iqueen, is a variation of apple products such as the iphone and ipod. People of a lower IQ generally score worse results in an IQ test.

EQ means Elephants quack. People with high EQ usually dont have high IQ, so they dont know that elephants dont actually quack, but in fact, cows do, hence they came up with an illogical name EQ.

I pity people with a low sense of EQ. Some of them, in fact most of them, are smart people, scoring As in their tests and testicles and what nots, but they dont have a basic sense of EQ. Other than their most familiar road of acadaemia, they behave stupidly outside their world of textbooks and mathematical equations, and thats why I think they are stupider than people who are screwed in the acadaemic aspect.

Many fail to realise that grades are not the shit that get them their success. Sure, it's a prerequisite, but not to a far and certain extent. Grades are just numbers, certificates are just pieces of paper, exams are the equivalent of the waste products you produce from your anal tract, they are nothing. They dont matter much. Sure, you got that awesome A, it's not that i dont admire people with As, because with As, you can get to skip lots of make up classes, but some people dont know how to behave besides getting their A.

And another thing, why care about prestige? You know, you should not aim for a school that has prestige, but more importantly, its ability to groom you well for your next phase of life. You see, people are getting 18 points and 20 points and are trying their best and cracking their heads to go to a supposedly elite school like RJC, because it is prestigous and cool and you get to mix around with all the supposedly smart tards and stuff. No, you dont look at elite schools in that light. I look at RJC in the sense that it produces awesome grades, so if I had the points and wanted to go there, its because of the grades that I will eventually get, not the fame and stuff that you get, hoping people will suck your cock because you are in that elite school.

Thats sidetracking, of course, but it just came into my mind. Like I said about IQ and EQ (I dont know how to complete this sentence, so I am not going to complete it). IQ is usually inborn. Its a talent. You either have it or you dont. Or you want to slog your brains out and squeeze the very inner sanctum of your brain such that all your brain juice flows out from your nose and your ears to prove to yourself and others that you have high IQ. But I believe EQ is groomed. And it is EQ that plays a part largely in our future, not much of IQ. It's obvious. You arent going to screw yourself with integration and differentiation and stoichiometry and kinematics and all that shit next time.

When some people are stupid, as i refer them, its because their EQ is low. I dont look down on a person who has low IQ or fail their tests and stuff (partly because i am one of them), but i dont respect people who cant even respect themselves, much less others. These people are stupid, but they try not to be. But they are.

Stupid people like these, should have a huge pole knocked onto their head to wake their senses up, and after that knocked another time, to snuff their life lights out.

Many of you would probably have heard about the 13-year old father in England, who fathered his son/daughter(I can't remember) with a 15year old alleged whorslut, given the number of sex partners she has despite the low-quality face she has.

I am jealous. After approximately 16.5years on Earth, I haven't had sex with anyone yet. If a 13year old boy can have sex, and even father a child despite not having any financial capabilities to support a family, why can't I, after 17years of education?

I came across this article and find it very touching and very warming. Its on a girl's dying wish to watch Pixar's Up before she dies. And Pixar actually sent someone down to give her a private viewing just because she was too ill to even go out to a theater to watch. She died around 7 hours after watching the film. I find the whole situation very warming, very sweet and it really picks up my day. I can't wait to see Up now.

If you want to come with the planners to buy food, please call ME!!

If you want to walk there from Bedok MRT, please follow this map, though I think you will die.

Recommended buses to take will be 196 and 197.

About the evaluation part of Economics essay, I've just clarified some parts with Miss Quek.
Due to my generous nature, I will share with you all. Hahas!

For evaluations, there is no confinement that it should always be the end of the essay.
Intermediate evaluations are OK, and an immediate evaluation following every point is also plausible.
(Note the difference between intermediate and immediate.)
Just the most important note that there should ALWAYS be an evaluation to end off part B or 25 marks essays.

And the weather is HOT.

Astounding results from a walk down the streets, by ME! and GuoXian.
We saw 2 preys sitting next to each other in what seemed to be a..bench?!
Benches are for couples to sit on.

Next, we approached them as would a person with diarrhoea approach the toilet.
Then, we confirmed our findings as would a person searching for toilet rolls in the toilet.
It's THEM!

And we spent our day with them, and watched the scenic fountain.

The holidays are meant for us to relax, not for us to fuss up over GP.
Let me start off with a story.
Mrs Chng dumped us with a lot of homework, and went overseas.
Yeah, the story ended like that, with a lot of casualties.
Ahhhh~~~

And hence, here are the outings scheduled for the CLASS during this holidays.
All should attend such fun gatherings, and enjoy!!

PC SHOW 2009 @ Suntec Singapore.
12 June, Friday.
Probably meet around 12, then we lunch first, and then go there to shop IT stuffs!
Location will be determined at a later date, due to the wide range of choices of location to eat.

Escapade @ 26 June 2009.
It's a Friday that day, and the last Friday of our dear holidays.
So, on that day, we will go to Escape and play and fly and all sorts, then evening onwards will be BBQ!!!
WenBin should be able to book a pit somewhere there, maybe East Coast Park or anywhere near, and then we will call for the BBQ service thing, and that means we won't have to prepare anything; JUST EAT!
Hopefully a lot of people will join in, as the more people at BBQ, the better it will be.
And so on and so forth.

And now, a message from our dear *cough* geog teacher regarding the timetable swap for her friday's PW period with tomorrow's geog period at 10:45. Good luck to all those who have to do pw *cough* and haven't finished whatever they need to do yet.

"Dear 32/09
As the PI drafts are due this Thurs (examination deadline so no pushing back the date), I would like to make a swap of PW and Geog lessons for tomorrow. Meaning can we have PW tomorrow at 10.45am and Geog on Fri 7.45am (and again at 1.15pm) instead?

The only issue is whether the non-Geog students (Ann, Fi, Yanjie) have anything on at 10.45am? I've checked your timetable, it should be a free period for you but if you've made arrangements to meet your tutors/have makeup tutorial etc, please let me know. In which case, please come and see me for PW at your break after PE between 10 - 10.45am.

Amanda, Yeong Jing, Kia Yong and Wenbin, please take note of the switch.

For the rest of you, please work on your PI drafts and submit tomorrow morning so I can try to give feedback at 10.45am. There will be temp taking at homeroom so Judi you can pass the drafts to Mrs Chng and get her to pass them to me.

Yeah, so very bored.
Let's design a class shirt so we can wear it whenever we have some class outings or something.
My proposed design will be to have everyone, each and every one us the class to contribute one word of their name and one random word to put on the back and front of the shirt respectively.
The shirt will most likely to have some random abstract design, and I think the shirt will contain class spirit if it's like it.

For example, I will choose "xin" of my name and "aspect", a random word to put on the back and front of the shirt respectively.
Will soon collect the details and design one design. Hahas.
Boredom pressured me to do this.

Also, remember to draw a right hand margin for the GP summary.
And then, study for your Tuesday Geography test!

Hi matar

For tomorrow, a gentle reminder, all periods will be shorten by 5 mins tml, meaning that a one hour lesson will be a 50min lesson tml. Therefore, for tml, our last lesson will be double period of GP. As for H2 lit after that, it will be cancelled. However, your are still required to bring the stuff for H2 lit as lessons will continue should the weather be wet tml.

Next, for the sports carnival as well as track and field meet, all of u are supposed to report in House T-Shirt and pants/skirt. Bring along your AJ shorts for carnival tml.
Below is the games allocation and the games number/timing, just in case any of u miss it when i say yesterday:

1) fangyu lisi yuting evelyn: badminton (grp 7) venue: sch hall
2) yinmin esther sabrina hoyee: floorball (grp 8) venue: track D1 & D2
3) judi yanjie ann jennifer: table tennis (grp 8) venue: school hall
4) fi wensheng chongxin kiayong: target frisbee (station 7: 3.45pm at obstacle area) & olympic target (station 2 : 2.15pm at fountain area blk 11)

Those names that are not included in the list, the girls will join any of the girls team above and sign up as reserves. As for the guys, we will have to register for another event (tentative badminton) tml and if they need 4 players, we will have to get people to play.

As for what time it will roughly end, the sports carnival will end at 4.15pm, followed by the track & field meet which will roughly end by 5.45pm.

Lastly pls remember to bring your thermometer tml and everyday thereafter.
